When a new Call of Duty game is released, fans often call in “sick” and skip work to play. In Sweden, the first day of your sick leave is always unpaid, leading to a loss of income. While launching Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III, we helped fans skip work on release day by introducing a sick leave grant that covered the deduction.
